Getting started with Vonage Contact Center (VCC) APIs

You want to get started with using one of VCC’s APIs? Well, you’re in the right place.

First thing you’ll need to do is get a bit familiar with the Vonage Contact Center Developer Portal: developer.newvoicemedia.com. Luckily there’s a guide for that. It’s called How to use the Vonage Contact Center Developer Portal with VCC APIs. Take look there and come back when you’re done.

Now you’ve got to grips with where to find the docs, general guides and the explorer, the next bit is really important: authentication. You’ll need to do this a lot so, guess what, there’s a guide for that too. So, you know where stuff is, you’ve got a bearer access token, and got authentication sorted. Now you can make your first real API call. Where better to do that than in an Explorer?: How to use an Explorer. In an Explorer you can test out requests before integrating them where required.
